Primarily our function here on 72 & Sunny’s rollout of the next chapter in 2K Sports’ MLB history. Working closely with director-clients Shilo West, Giantsteps presents just how easy it is for Evan Longoria to gauge a pitch ripe for the grandstand. Although motion control was employed to calculate multiple passes of the same move in both realtime and slow motion, we stepped in to adjust talent positions and key actions outside the original move because after all, you don’t have to be married to the way you shot it. We also populated the bleachers in a way permitting Shilo to keep the shoot down to a day and the finish to a week. The final (important) touch on this RED 4K job was that cliffhangar, cg ball comp. Mastered in 2K & HD 1080.
